story
I have loved being creative my whole life. I still remember my first hot pink 110 Camera that I would carry around, and take pictures of any and everything. I started taking pictures of landscapes and flowers whenever and where ever I went. That soon turned into taking pictures of my friends & their kids then I shot my first wedding. I really found it enjoyable to take pictures of young children. I fell in love with the art of newborn photography after my daughter was born 13 years ago. I had done newborn pictures before she was born but I had a new understanding for babies after her, she was a very fussy baby, I think that is where I gained my patience & understanding for dealing with all sorts of newborn situations. I have been called “The Baby Whisperer” for the past few years.

How it's going...
I have a passion for what I do. I love meeting new people, I love that my job is never the same. I need to be able to change and adapt on the fly and make the most of any situation. I pride myself on going above & beyond at every session to ensure that I can give everyone something that they love and will cherish for years to come.
Working Out. I love starting my day at the gym. For a few years, I worked out at 5:30 am! I don't go that early anymore, but starting the morning off at the gym always makes my day better.
Kayaking and Hiking. Being near water makes me happy, and being out in nature brings me calmness. That's why I prefer to shoot outside whenever possible.
I LOVE Thrifting, Antiquing, and Garage Sales. I live for unique finds. They help me with all of my sessions, allowing me to bring any themed setup to life with my thrifted special treasures.

I specialize in capturing life's precious moments through a lens, with a particular focus on maternity and newborn photography. I also highlight senior portraits, families, 6-month (sitter) sessions & 1-year cake smash photos.
My goal is to create timeless & personal images that will be cherished for generations to come. My approach is personal, warm, and relaxed, ensuring that you feel comfortable and at ease during your photoshoot. I also will do just about anything to get that smile, but I also know that your child might not give a big smile and that is ok…. sad faces and tears are a part of life and sometimes those happen.
