I LOVE being creative and getting to explore. Finding new and unique places to photograph your senior sessions lights me up. With these sessions I like to find out more about you….what do you like? Do you play sports or play an instrument? Maybe you like nature or you love the city? What is your vibe? Let's include that in your session. We typically meet at a location, put all your stuff in my car, and give Mom the night off! Then we go all out and have a fun little photoshoot experience!
Newborn sessions can take a while. I never rush these. The best time for a newborn session is within the first week -10 days. After 10 days they tend to become more awake and fussy the longer you wait. I do make it as easy as can be. I come to you and bring EVERYTHING, you just supply the baby! I do at least one setup based on the nursery and that color scheme. With girls, I always do a fresh flower set up and with boys I use eucalyptus. I want these images to be looked back on and cherished for a lifetime.
Turning one is a BIG THING! It is truly incredible that in 365 days a tiny little baby can turn into such a little person. They change SO MUCH in the 1st year of life, that when they turn ONE you have to capture that. I can do simple or use their Birthday Party Theme. I have a million props and I will be outside whenever I can. I start off with a few family pictures then 1 or 2 outfits (which I have a bunch to choose from) or you can supply your own. I set up the scene and end the session with a Cake Smash.
I LOVE all things baby.
Maternity pictures to me are “BEFORE”. You cant have the Squishy cute newborn until you go through 9 months of watching your body change and grow a human life inside you. I think that it so important to capture that magnificent & spectacular time. These sessions are for you to have to look back on and remember how you looked and felt. They can be just you alone or you and your significant other. Simple, classic, fancy, over-the-top, or a combo of it all! We will talk beforehand to figure out the look you want.
